Caterina Fiorindi – Creator & Stage Manager
Caterina Fiorindi is an Ottawa based stage manager, producer and theatre creator. She was nominated for Emerging Artist in the 2018 Prix Rideau Awards. Her credits include: The Rule of Three (The Great Canadian Theatre Company); Swan River (Skeleton Key Theatre); Little Boxes (Little Boxes Collective); In the Room (The Cellar Door Project); girls!girls!girls! (Cart Before the Horse).
Nicholas Leno – Creator & Director
Nicholas Leno is a director, creator, and producer who lives in Ottawa. He works year round as an administrator for a Company of Fools and is an associate producer of the Fresh Meat Festival. His work has been programmed by the Ottawa Storytellers, CSart Ottawa, In the Soil Arts Festival, the Kick and Push festival, and the Fresh Meat Festival.
Monica Bradford-Lea – Creator, Performer & Puppet Designer
Monica Bradford-Lea is an Ottawa-based theatre creator, actor, and producer. Recent credits include: The Brotherhood, In Waking Life (Spicy Day); Beth-Anne (Fresh Meat). With diverse training in puppetry, clown, and Shakespeare, Monica is passionate about creating multidisciplinary performances. She is proud to be co-founder of theatre companies Second Step, Spicy Day, and a producer of the new UPROAR Festival showcasing female-identifying and genderqueer artists.
Franco Pang – Creator, Performer, Set Designer, Lighting Designer & Projection Animations
Franco Pang originated the role of Boy in the first iteration of Light(less) in 2018. Selected credits include: Design Assistant, Noor (Generous Friend, Aga Khan Museum); Production Technician, Twelfth Night (Company of Fools); Lighting & Sound Design, Utsän Män – Old Woman Lake (Ottawa Storytellers, National Arts Centre); Performer, Concord Floral (BRUBACHER/SPOONER/TANNAHILL, National Arts Centre, Magnetic North, Canadian Stage).
Rachel Lloyd – Composer, Musical Director & Performer
Rachel Lloyd is an Ottawa based performer and composer. Recent credits include: Light(less) (Second Step), and High School High (Ottawa Fringe 2018). Rachel has extensive training in vocal music, specializing in opera and musical theatre. She is one of the producers of UPROAR Festival which showcases female-identifying and genderqueer artists.
Montana Adams – Creator & Performer
Montana Adams is an Ottawa based performer and creator, though she has strong roots as an Indigenous artist from Akwesasne, Ontario. Recent credits include: The Small Room at the Top of the Stairs (University of Ottawa); Husk (Fresh Meat); Niinindizhinikaaz (Theatre 4.669 Summer Lab Project).
Sasha Hayashi – Assistant Stage Manager
Sasha Hayashi is an Ottawa based theatre artist and technician with a passion for making backstage magic happen. Selected credits include: Ceci n’est pas une lettre d’adieu… (Théâtre la Catapulte, stage managing internship), Le silence d’une tragédie… ou La mesure humaine (Théâtre Tremplin, Show Stage Manager), Testament (Comédie des deux rives, Co-Stage Manager and Production Manager), and Agatha (Théâtre Licorne, Set Designer).
Even Gilchrist – Creator, Costume Designer & Projection Illustrations
Even Gilchrist is currently pursuing a MFA in Theatre Design at the University of Alberta. He is excited to continue to be a collaborator on Light(less) as a designer. His most recent creative credits include being a part of: Re:Construct (theatre decentred), The Rule of Three (GCTC), Twelfth Night (a Company of Fools), Swan River (Skeleton Key Theatre) and By-Product.D.Rivé (LabO).
